A huge 110 feet wide motorised projection screen was employed to showcase the launch heroes

Daimler Benz World Premiere II, 2015 Chennai

Premiere 2 was one of the largest executed by Daimler India Commercial Vehicles. It was to unveil the BharatBenz and Mercedes-Benz range of Buses and BharatBenz Trucks. The target audience comprised media, business partners, and customers and the event was spread across 4 days.


Showtime produced a series of events for 1000 special invitees at the sprawling New Outbound Logistics Yard within the Daimler India's factory premises at Oragadam near Chennai in India. It took over 200 event professionals nearly 4 weeks to construct the vast event spaces.


The highlight of the launch was a fashion sequence featuring the launch vehicles, on a 180 feet long reinforced track that overlooked a 160 feet x 60 feet customized stage with a huge 110 feet wide motorized projection screen in the backdrop. The fashion sequence ended with the screen going up to reveal the new line-up on stage.
